Outreach & Professional Trainings

Our mission is to provide ABA individualized services to enable children with developmental delays the opportunity to reach their maximum potential. We utilize the ABA teaching methodology to address the needs of children who are having difficulty making progress in their current school/home environments.We are available to school systems, child care centers, and private schools in assisting them in the assessment and evaluation of students, training of staff, and designing of indivdualized programs for their special needs students.

 

All Outreach Trainings are provided by Maranda Porter.

 

Maranda Porter is the Outreach Coordinator and Behavior Consultant for the Matthew Reardon Center.  She received her Bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University in May 2004 in Child Development, her Master's degree from the University of Phoenix in July 2009 in Clinical Psychology, and completed the behavior analysis course sequence from the University of North Texas in December 2007.  She has received countless numbers of supervision hours in Behavior Analysis from Dr. Dana Trahant Ph.D., BCBA from the Marcus Institute in Atlanta, Georgia.  Currently, Maranda is pending board certification for her BCBA. She is also certified trainer II for Bright from the Start to provide trainings for all licensed child care facilities and group homes in the state of Georgia.
Maranda has provided behavioral services for rural school districts and acts as a liaison with school and home ABA programs.  She also provides trainings on Applied Behavior Analysis theories and methodologies to several school systems in the state.
